A total 232 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives today.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 232 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 68,429 with another 4,295 people still in treatment. There are 31 people being treated at hospitals.
In the same time frame, 41 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 105 from the atolls, eight people from the resorts and 112 people from resorts under construction.
There have been 209 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 192 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020.
