Total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country has risen to 124 for after another person has passed away today.

One Online has learned that a 66-year-old local man being treated at the Hulhumale' Facility has passed away.

So far, 51 people have passed away this month alone due to COVID-19 related complications.

The COVID-19 death toll on the country include 111 locals and 13 foreigners.

Maldives reported its first COVID-related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
