A COVID-19 related death today has raised the total number of COVID-related deaths in the Maldives to 121.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that at 12:02 pm a 48-year-old Maldivian male admitted at HMF has passed away.

This is the 121st COVID-19 death in the Maldives

This month alone, 48 people have passed away so far due to complications with COVID-19. This month is marked as the month with the highest number of deaths.

So far, 108 locals and 13 foreigners have passed away due to COVID-19 in the country.
