The total number of COVID-19 related deaths today has risen to six after three people at the Hulhumale' COVID-19 Facility has passed away.

The deaths of a local woman, a local man and an Indian man has been reported from the Hulhumale' Facility. With these three deaths, the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country has risen to 111.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that a 63-year-old local woman at the facility passed away at 8:30 a.m. this morning and a 51-year-old Indian national being treated at the Hulhumale' Facility passed away at 8:44 a.m.

While six people have passed away today so far ue to COVID-19, the two deaths took place at the Laamu Atoll facility. And a a deceased man taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has been confirmed positive as well.
