Another person has passed away in the Maldoves raising the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country to 103.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that a 79-year-old woman being treated at the Hulhumale' Facility passed away at 11:14 p.m. last night.

A second person also passed away around the same time. It has been confirmed as the former MP for the Gahdhoo constituency, Zahir Adam.

So far, 30 people gave passed away this month making it the highest death toll for a single month. A total of 92 locals and 11 foreigners have passed away due to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
