The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 25,992 after another 210 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 210 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 25,992 with another 8,640 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 590 people have tested positive including 439 people in Male' area and 9 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 83 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 72 locals, 11 foreign nationals.
