The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 25,214 after another 146 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 146 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 25,214 with another 6,033 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 585 people have tested positive including 397 people in Male' area and 11 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 74 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 65 locals, eight Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines and India.
