A foreign national has passed away due to COVID-19 related complications, raising the total COVID-deaths in the country to 74.
One has learned that the deceased is a 39-year-old Bangladeshi male, who was being treated at DH11.
This is the 74h COVID-19 death in the Maldives
With this, the total number of COVID deaths in the country is currently at 65 locals and nine foreigners that include nationals from Bangladeshi and Philippines as well as India.
The first reported COVID-19 death in the country was on 29 April 2020 after an 83-year-old woman passed away.
