The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 24,703 after another 128 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 128 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 24,703 with another 4,585 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 318 people have tested positive including 142 people in Male' area and 33 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 73 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 65 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines and India.
