The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Maldives has risen to 23,360 after another 118 people recovers.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 118 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 23,360 with another 2,584 people still being treatment.
In the same time frame, 40 people tested positive from Male' City, 24 from the atolls and 18 people from the resorts. After a spike in cases last two months, the daily average is at 100 cases this week.
So far, there have been 68 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 61 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
