The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 22,014 after another 116 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 116 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 22,014 with another 3,101 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 138 people have tested positive including 84 people in Male' area and 6 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 67 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 60 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
