The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 21,512 after another 144 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 144 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 21,512 with another 3,063 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 103 people have tested positive including 58 people in Male' area and 21 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 67 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 60 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
