The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 21,282 after another 127 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 127 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 21,282 with another 3,022 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 300 people have tested positive including 94 people in Male' area and 15 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 67 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 60 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
