COVID-related deaths in the Maldives have claimed to 67 after a person brought to IGMH ER tested positive for COVID-19.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that today at 12:27pm a 66 year male brought to IGMH/ER in an unresponsive state was declared dead at 12:35pm.

Samples taken from the deceased tested positive for COVID-19 according to the HPA and the COVID-death toll has risen to 67.

The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 20,984 with 2,780 active cases.
