Indian airline, Air Vistara has started scheduled flights between India and the Maldives.
A statement issued by the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) said that Air Vistara began scheduled between Mumbai and Male' with the first flight arriving at 12:55 p.m. yesterday.
The airline is set to have weekly flights on Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets for these flights are priced between USD 244 and USD 648.
Air Vistara is a joint venture airline by India's TATA Group and Singapore Airlines. The airline joins IndioGo, GoAir and SpiceJet among the Indian airlines currently flying to the Maldives.
