Swine flu reportedly killed 40 people in Rajasthan, India.
News outlets have reports have said that more than 1000 people have been tested positive for swine flu.
Swine flu is spreading fast in Rajasthan, and have reportedly killed 2 people in capital New Delhi, within this month alone. National Disease Control announced that there are currently 168 people tested positive for swine flu in Delhi.
Health officials in Rajasthan have begun conducting awareness programs in an effort to stem the spread of this disease. Doctors have reportedly been visiting homes and conducting health screenings.
The contagious disease, swine flu has been spreading rapidly since 2009. Symptoms of the disease include fever, cough, headache and body ache and well as joint pain. Other symptoms that may present themselves include diarrhea and vomiting.
