A Maldivian national has passed away due to complications with COVID-19. This most recent COVID-19 related death marks 62 COVID deaths in the country.

One Online has learned that the person passed away early this morning while undergoing treatment. While a COVID death is reported today, an 80-year-old woman local woman passed away yesterday.
