The joint venture airline of India's TATA Group and the Singapore Airlines, Vistara airline, is set to start flights between Male' and Mumbai.
The airline said that they would be operating three flights a week on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday starting from 3 March with the use of A320 planes.
This is the first airline with Premium, Economy and Business Classes to operate flights between Mumbai and the Maldivian capital. While IndiGo and GoAir operates flight between the same destinations, only Economy Class service is available on the flights.
Vistara said that the flights starting next month would be priced at USD 227 for a round-trip and bookings have been opened via their website and online travel agencies.
The Indian airline, Vistara joins IndioGo, GoAir and SpiceJet among the Indian airlines currently flying to the Maldives.
