The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 14,419 after another 82 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 82 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 14,419 with another 1,930 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 134 people have tested positive including 110 people in Male' area and 14 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 54 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 47 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
