The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 14,190 after another 51 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 51 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 14,190with another 1,807 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 215 people have tested positive including 159 people in Male' area and 47 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 52 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 45 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
