The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 13,813 after another 82 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 82 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 13,813 with another 1,015 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 55 people have tested positive including 31 people in Male' area and 15 from the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 50 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 43 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
