The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 13,402 after another 37 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 37 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 13,402 with another 760 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 59 people have tested positive including 33 people in Male' area. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 49 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 42 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
