The number of positive cases from the wedding cluster has risen to 62 as of now.

The wedding cluster emerged from a wedding held at SHE building last week. The HEOC had previously reported that 35 people including high-risk patients had tested positive among the attendees of the party. Another 120 people were quarantined.

As per HEOC, attendees of the party included people with covid like symptoms, and by Sunday 41 people had tested positive.

The first positive case was reported on December 24th. While one tested positive that day, 12 tested positive on 25th, 21 on 26th, and 8 on 27th. 8 more tested positive from the same cluster yesterday.

An official for the Health Ministry confirmed to "One" that 13 people from the cluster tested positive today, bringing the total to 62 people.

Four patients among those positive are marked as high-risk.

HEOC urged those who had not been contacted as of yet to call 1676 and share as much information as possible, with the addition of home isolation as per their guidelines.

HPA appealed all attendees of such events to monitor their guidelines strictly including wearing masks and social distancing during the event.
