The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 12,760 after another 29 people have recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 29 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 12,760 with another 577 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 13 people have tested positive including 7 people in Male' area and 2 in the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.

So far, there have been 48 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 41 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
