The total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 12,621 after another 30 people have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 30 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 12,621 with another 633 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 34 people have tested positive including 15 people in Male' area and 8 in the resorts. HPA did not clarify numbers in terms of locals and foreigners.
So far, there have been 47 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 40 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
