The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 12,154 after another 153 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 153 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 12,154 with another 898 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 36 people have tested positive including 32 in Male' area and 02 in operational resorts.

So far, there have been 47 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 40 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
