The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,681 after another 21 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 21 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,681with another 1,120 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 44 people have tested positive including 34 in Male' area and 02 in operational resorts.

So far, there have been 46 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 39 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
