The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,615 after another 16 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 16 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,615 with another 1,090 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 158 people have tested positive including 58 locals and 92 foreigners.
So far, there have been 46 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 39 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
