The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,289 after another 27 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 27 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,289 with another 865 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 50 people have tested positive including 19 locals and 31 foreigners.
So far, there have been 43 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 35 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
