The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,262 after another 18 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 18 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,262 with another 843 people still in treatment.
In the same time frame, 42 people have tested positive including 28 locals and 14 foreigners.
So far, there have been 42 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 34 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
