After another 26 people test positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 12,085.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 26 people have tested positive including 16 locals and 10 foreigners.
In the same time frame, 26 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,225 with another 812 people still in treatment.
So far, there have been 41 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 33 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
