The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,199 after another 17 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 17 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,199 with another 812 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 29 people have tested positive including 17 locals and 12 foreigners.

So far, there have been 41 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 33 locals, seven Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
