The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,132 after another 40 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 40 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,132 with another 830 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 23 people have tested positive including 20 locals and 03 foreigners.

So far, there have been 40 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 33 locals, six Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
