After another 24 people test positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 11,986.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 24 people have tested positive including 18 locals and 06 foreigners.
In the same time frame, 26 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,092 with another 847 people still in treatment.
So far, there have been 39 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 33 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
