The total number of COVID-19 recoveries have risen to 11,041 after another 31 people recovers from the illness in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 31 people recovered from COVID-19, totaling the number of recoveries in the country 11,041 with another 845 people still in treatment.

In the same time frame, 39 people have tested positive including 20 locals and 19 foreigners. Statistics from the HPA show 212 people in Isolation Facilities and 54 people being treated at hospitals.

So far, there have been 39 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 33 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
