Health Protection Agency (HPA) has conducted health inspections at 39 private and government offices to ensure they are up to the guidelines.

Regarding the inspections carried out in cooperation with the Maldives Police Service, HPA said that that 39 offices were searched as of Thursday and most offices were up to code.

However, some offices reportedly had poor hygiene and lacked distancing. At the end of the inspections, all government offices and a number of private offices will be checked.

HPA has advised to direct any inquiries regarding the inspections to 728-5216.
