After another 22 people tests positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours, the total number of cases in the country has risen to 11,232.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 22 people have tested positive including 17 locals and 5 foreigners.
In the same time frame, another 37 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 10,201 with another 987 people in treatment.
So far, there have been 37 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 31 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
