After another 88 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 9,742.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 88 people under treatment for COVID-19 have recovered.

In the same time frame, 35 people have tested positive including 27 locals and 08 foreigners.

Statistics show that there are 368 people in treatment at isolation facilities while 72 people are being treated at hospitals.

So far, there have been 35 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 29 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
