After another 35 people tests positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours, the total number of cases in the country has risen to 10,894.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 35 people have tested positive including 27 locals and 08 foreigners.
In the same time frame, another 88 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 9,742 with another 1,110 people in treatment.
Statistics show that there are 368 people in treatment at isolation facilities while 72 people are being treated at hospitals.
So far, there have been 35 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 29 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
