Local telecom giant, Dhiraagu has provided free internet to the Fiyavathi Orphanage in Hulhumale’ and set up four classrooms for online classes.

Dhiraagu have been providing free internet to the orphanage’s computer lap under the company’s Corporate-Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The company said that during the current climate of COVID-19 pandemic, there is a need for internet aside from the computer lap to conduct the school programs online at the classrooms. And while 99 students are currently taking part in the foundation level to Grade 7 at the Fiyavathi Orphanage, students can take part in special activities as well through the internet provided by Dhiraagu.

CEO of Fiyavathi Orphanage, Zeena Qasim expressed gratitude to Dhiraagu for the closeness they keep with the orphanage.

Dhiraagu have been providing assistance to the orphanages through their CSR programs.
