Another 76 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 8,673.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 76 recoveries as well raising the total number of recovered patients to 8,673.

In the same time period, 53 locals have tested positive along with 22 foreign nationals raising the total cases in the country to 10,014. Statistics from the HPA show that there are 796 people in isolation facilities and 82 people in hospitals.

COVID-19 in the Maldives so far has seen 34 fatalities so far including 28 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
