The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 7,903 after 174 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 174 which brings the total number of recoveries to 7,903. With this, the total number of active cases is now 1,485.

The agency also confirmed and additional 99 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 65 locals and 34 foreigners.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 9,427.

There are 33 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are six foreigners and 27 Maldivians.
