Hithadhoo, Addu City, has been brought under a status following multiple cases of COVID-19.

Deputy Director General of the Health Protection Agency (HPA), Thasleema Usman has confirmed it One Online. She said that Hithadhoo is under monitoring to do contact tracing after a man in home quarantine tested positive.

A 38-year-old foreign man and was confirmed positive after the samples collected yesterday before being released from home quarantine, tested positive.

Aside from Hithadhoo, a local man in home quarantine in Feydhoo, Addu City, also confirmed positive for COVID-19 last night.

However, HPA said that they do not have plans to put Feydhoo under monitoring.
