The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 2,725 after 19 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 19 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,725. With this, the total number of active cases is now 1,936.
The agency also confirmed and additional 86 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 56 Maldivians, 27 Bangladeshis, 1 Indian, 1 Filipino, and 1 Sri Lankan.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 4,680.
There are 19 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and fifteen Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
