A woman has been sexually assaulted on board a safari yacht at the Hulhumale’ lagoon.

Maldives Police Service said that the sexual assault of a foreign woman who went to a safari yacht at Hulhumale’ was reported at 5 a.m. this morning.

Following the report, two 39-year-old local men at the scene have been brought into the custody of the police.

Police is investigating the crime further.
