Ten more people receiving treatment for COVID-19 in the Maldives have recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that in the past 24 hours (6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today), another ten people in treatment in the Maldives have recovered raising the total recoveries to 1769 with another 371 people left in treatment.
In the same time-frame, another 13 cases have been confirmed; which includes three locals and ten Bangladeshi nationals. The total number of recorded cases in the Maldives currently stands at 2150.
While it has been noted that the number of reported cases has gone down since this month. And so, the daily confirmed cases have not gone above 30 and the number of daily new cases are around 20.
So far, eight people have passed away from COVID-19 related complications; four Bangladeshi nationals and four elderly locals.
