The number of people recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives has risen to 406.

Speaking at the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) press conference last night, Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Azizi said that as of last night up to the press conference, 401 people had recovered from COVID-19.

Since then, five more people have recovered according to the dashboard of the Health Protection Agency (HPA).

Maldives has a reported 1672 cases of COVID-19 in the country with five fatalities; two Bangladeshi nationals and three elderly locals.
