After 19 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives, the total number of cases in the country has risen to 1,457.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) noted that among these cases there are 4 Maldivians, 13 Bangladeshis along with an Indian and Nepali.

With this the total number of cases are now 1,457.

So far Maldives has recorded 232 recoveries and five deaths related to COVID-19.
