Dhiraagu has donated special kiosks to the Ministry of Health to collect samples for COVID-19 testing. The telecom company donated 15 of these kiosks designed by the local company Print Lab.

Health Ministry said that the kiosks are designed to keep a safe distance between the health official and the potential patients while collecting samples to ensure the safety of the person collecting the samples.

The Ministry said that the kiosks donated by Dhiraagu will be used in the Male’ area and fire other islands.

Health Ministry said that the use of the sampling kiosks will reduce the use of PPEs when collecting samples; something very important to those working in the front lines that has become very difficult to acquire due to high demand.
