Pediatrician at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Dr. Ahmed Faisal has said that 1 in 100 people show symptoms of COVID-19 Corona Virus after 14 days and the illness could spread from them as well.

Dr. Faisal made the statement on Twitter along with a statistical study from the Annals of Internal Medicine. Talking to One Online, Dr. Faisal said that the tweet is a summary of the study.

According to the study there was not much information on the illness when it first emerged in Wuhan, China. Back then, based on the person’s history, the incubation period was estimated between 2 to 14 days.

The study also included the information available on the disease so far. It said that while the outbreak originated in Wuhan, it was from a person who was visiting the city. And it spread globally through contact.
